Hi Music City Boys, I saw & heard you all for the 1st time Sat May 21, 2011 at the Murfreesboro First Church of the Nazarene. "Wow"! What a blessing you all were for me. :) I did get to talk with Keith & James afterwards. I really appreciated that they love my "Smile". When you are listening to good Gospel singing like ya'll were delivering, it's hard not to smile. You all looked & acted so filled with the Lord. I can't wait to see you all again. I was not able to purchase any of your music that night but I would love to do so some day soon. I hated that Alan was not with the group that night but look forward to seeing & hearing him as well. Keep up the great work guys & please know what a blessing you all are. :) Love to hear you & look forward to the next time. May God Bless you all as he has blessed me with you & your music!!! In Christian Love, Joyce Tibbs.

The Music City Boys have been making good, quality quartet music since 1987. Group Members Tom Hire, Keith Sargent, Alan Stout and James Meredith have a passion for southern gospel music and it shines through on their newest release, "Friendly Fire"
This project has many classic songs that fans of southern gospel and church music will love such as " O What A Savior" "Far Above the Starry Sky" "I Love to Call His Name", "Beulah Land" "Victory in Jesus" and "Thank God I Am Free" are just a few highlights. The group does a good job of staying true to the arrangements that we're familiar with yet add their own flair as well. Lead Singer, Keith Sargent wrote the title track, "Friendly Fire" and it is a fun, catchy song with a powerful message. The group covers the Booth Brothers hit, "He Saw It All" and does a nice job with it.
The Music City Boys have an energy about them that you can feel in each song in this project. I would encourage them to step out and get some of their own original material and shake up the arrangements a bit. This classic recording is a great project and I am looking forward to more from this great quartet!

One of my friends on facebook put one of your songs on there, it was “ Oh What a Savior“, it lifted up my spirits today and showed me that God is still in control and I have to thank God for sending you men and the voices you all have to bless people with. I also love to sing for the glory of the Lord and my favorite song is “Because He Lives”, I know we can face tomorrow cause Jesus is in it. May the Lord continue to put his hands on your Group and the music you bring. I would like to know where to get your C.D. God Bless.....Brother Stephen Butler......HEBREWS 13:8

I have to say that I love the new CD. I even put one in the bathroom and listen to it constantly. The song "Tell My Friends" could be my favorite one. I would rank it right up there with Ms. Weatherford and what a job she does. Just waiting for the next one, so hurry up and learn some new songs. The past two week-ends were top notch in my book. Tom has been singing ever since we have been married and I might say that is quite a while, but I have loved every minute of it. In my estimation, Southern Gospel is the best. Thanks to the other guys that allowed this project to come into existence, and a special thanks to the producer, Bob Roden.

How's your group doing? Sounds like pretty well to me. I Love the new song, "Friendly Fire" it is a very catchy tune. I've known James Loyd for many years, but had lost track of who he was singing with now. Glad to see that he is still singing. I've wished so many times that I had taken an opportunity or two that I had to sing with a gospel group down through the years. Maybe I can catch you all sometime when you're around close.

I love this song. James had given me a copy of a few of the songs in advance, all are fantastic. You guys are so talented it is great to see your talent used to praise the Lord. I think you are the best group I have ever heard bar none. Keep up the great work for our Lord and I look forward to getting the new CD. James, I am so glad to see you with this group, I truly believe that the Lord has placed you where you need to be. You are all a blessing. May God continue to be your focus and may He bless you richly as you use your talents to minister for Him. Love and Blessing, Debbie

My husband & I were in Clarksville Tn. this past week and had lunch with James and Beth Meredith. To our suprise James brought us an advanced copy of their new CD "Friendly Fire". Folks this is a HOMERUN out of the ball park and beyond. We listened to the CD from Clarksville, TN till we reached home in St. Peters, MO. The Music City Boys sound like they have been singing together for years. I know everyone that gets this CD will feel the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I just looked at all the beautiful pictures for the first time. They are wonderful. Such a GOOD LOOKING bunch. I love to hear you guys sing as you have heard me say many times before. Anyone getting to hear you all receives a blessing. All those beautiful people in all the pictures, your wives, children, grandchildren, and the people helping you, including fans. This is great. Can't wait to see you all again when I get the chance. I pray for you all everyday, and hope God continues to bless your talents and all you come in contact with. Love you all,(And Especially that Good looking Lady Hazel Bryson in there singing with you all sometimes. ha) Diana Stewart

I think my first recollection of the Music City Boys is from a Middle Tennessee Singing Convention a number of years ago while I was pianist for Salem Ridge Quartet. Since then changes have occurred with both groups, and I am so glad to see that James Meredith is with you now. I have known him for a number of years and together we have shared "Precious Memories". In my opinion you made a good choice when you brought him to your organization. We hope to see you in the Clarkslle/Dover/Erin area soon. I pray for God to continue to bless you as you sing His praises.

I love gospel music and know you all are Christians. I'm a fan of Jack Hollingsworth's, although I have never met him personally, but have all of his music. I have a prayer request for my 9 year old grand daughter, Layken Smith. She is a brilliant and beautiful young lady who loves the Lord. Was saved and baptized a few months ago. She has migraines and recently diagnosed with petit mal seizures. The medications they put her on are causing very serious problems. The doctors don't seem to know what to do but "I KNOW A MAN WHO CAN". PLEASE PRAY FOR A MIRACLE. THANK YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU IN YOU MUSIC MINISTRY.

Where do we begin? Let me begin by stating that it is so wonderful to see and hear James singing again words cannot describe it. We get such a blessing every time we go to hear The Music City Boys. We think this is probably one of the best Quartets we have ever heard and will continue to go see them and listen to them every chance we get. Tom, Keith, Allan & James keep up the wonderful work and thanks for the autographed picture! It makes me feel special to be the first one to receive one.
